Belly
Dance Fitness Classes - These
classes are a great workout and fun introduction to belly dance! Learn
some basic belly dance moves and a mini-choreography and get your
heart rate up while having fun! Now offered at two locations: If you are interested
in taking a weekly beginner's or level 2 class instead, or in Beginner's
Choreography Class -
Starting Feb. 21st, Sundays
at 4pm.
Choreography Workshop - March 21st, 3pm-6pm. Those who learn the choreography and can meet weekly to practice it will be able to perform in the spring Hafla. This class is open to anyone who has been through either the beginner's choreography classes, at least 3 beginner's sessions, or has prior bellydance experience - e-mail me with any questions. Level
2 class - Next class is 2/21.
Class
meets every other Sunday and in
these we work on more advanced techniques, combinations, rhythms,
or choreographies. Admission
is on a case by case basis - e-mail
me for info.
Drills classes - Starting in March I will offer Tuesday evening drills classes. These are open to anyone although some belly dance or other dance experience will be helpful since it is not a basics class. The drills class will focus on training exercises to build muscle strength and coordination, drilling of basic belly dance moves, and drilling of traveling moves. It will be a great way to progress in your belly dance skills, have a fun workout, and work on new moves. Please
